Am I the only one that's offended by American Idol performances tonight?
i dont even watch that show. i agree with yoyo and bbtalk. "music" these days is all about commericial success and it seems like the feeling and the message dont matter anymore, and yes especially in the US. there's this country song i really like, it's called "Risk" and the singer is Paul Brandt. the message delivered talks about how if one doesnt take risks, then more or so likely, they're not going to enjoy life all that much, because they'll spend their life staying on their toes. it helped me realize that every step we take and every breath we take is a risk, and well, death and hurt are inevitable. the song was extremly successful in paul's home country of canada, but here in the US, it's seemingly non-existant apparently. so how'd james rank in the standings?
