Where to donate for tornadoe victims?

I have alot of items I was going to have a garage sale for, but after seeing so much of the devastation in the south, I thought maybe I could donate alot of clothes, I have a ton of kids clothes all sizes and I am sure kids are needing things liek this. Is thier a way to make sure it gets directly to those in need?
